Buffalo Bill - EP

Buffalo, New York’s prodigy, ChaunSAY Mackin’ and Maryland beatsmith, Chisom Uzosike join forces to deliver one of the hottest EPs of Spring 2014. Noble Black Society presents Buffalo Bill (named for ChaunSAY’s hometown) – a lively synthesis of colorful, eclectic samples and witty, effortless wordplay. This 7-track collaboration is what Mortal Kombat fans would call a “Flawless Victory”. Buffalo Bill is a lethal combination that will slay you before you even realize what happened…So spark up and enjoy the show!

For the past month I’ve been hard at work, helping to create this work of art. It’s hard to describe just how excited I am to finally get to share it with all of you. HUGE shout out to ChaunSAY Mackin’, and everyone who helped to make our tape happen.

Mixtape: Buffa7o – Genesis

Hailing from Baltimore, Maryland, up and coming rapper Buffa7o makes for an interesting listen. I was introduced to his music from his debut mixtape that dropped last month, fittingly named Genesis,. On Genesis we’re introduced to Buffa7o’s cold, confident rhymes, “suprised that I made it to twenty one. Young reckless and high as feens I thought that I would die a teen”. Buffa7o’s clever rhymes are peppered with religous references and the music melds from one track to the next well–making for a smooth listen, without production coming off as repetative or limited. Two standout tracks are the boom bap influenced “Stormborn”, produced by Jujuan Allen with Buffa7o dropping bars  about his beginnings and the bold, Hi$to produced “Lango”.  Genesis ultimately makes for a solid introduction to the new rapper, however it would be nice to hear more introspective rhymes on his next project. Check out Genesis below.
