New Beat Tape: Fa†e – A Night Lost In Paris

7 Apr

unnamed

As a producer, I listen to other producers with a critical ear. That being said…I love this beat tape. Fa†e is a producer hailing from California who has collaborated with the likes of Blu, ScienZe, Emay, and more. His latest offering, A Night Lost In Paris, displays his love for soul samples, “boom-bap” drums, and Woody Allen’s Midnight In Paris. All you sophisticated, city-dwelling, hipster, Hip-Hop lovers who enjoy good vibes and lighting incense will love this tape. People who just love to hear good music will also love this tape. The samples are beautiful and arranged beautifully. This is most definitely a skip-free work of art, but if I had to pick a favorite track, it would be “Paris”. This free tape is a gift. Don’t sleep on this.

If you don’t know who J Nolan is, fix that.

A little over a week ago the young humble legend recently dropped a new track entitled, “Return Of The East Coast” while celebrating his 25th birthday (it’s never too late for a belated birthday shoutout). He nimbly flows over LL Cool J’s “Doin It” instrumental, keeping listeners on their toes while warning sucka emcees. Be on the lookout for upcoming releases from this artist.
